What is a Helibar?

A Helibar is a stainless steel reinforcing bar used for masonry repair, strengthening and stabilising. It can also be used to create or repair flat arch lintels and to crack stitch.

What is crack stitching?

Crack stitching is the method of repairing and stabilising cracked masonry by installing helibars into cut slots at pre-determined levels. They are then set in a specialised grout. This is a cost effective method, providing minimal disruption to the wall and avoiding the need to rebuild.

Helibars are also used to create or repair flat arch lintels which again is a cost effective solution, offers minimal disruption and avoids the need to remove or replace lintels.
